Acceptable Use Policy

LighChat Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

This Policy is an integral part of the Terms of Service.

1. General principle

Use LighChat responsibly, lawfully, and with respect for other users.

2. Strictly prohibited

2.1 Unlawful activity

terrorism, extremism, incitement to violence;
trade in drugs, weapons, humans, illegal goods;
child sexual abuse material (CSAM);
promotion of suicide, self-harm;
hate speech.

2.2 Attacks on security

DoS / DDoS attacks against Service infrastructure;
exploitation of vulnerabilities outside an agreed bug bounty program;
distribution of malware, phishing links;
attempts to obtain unauthorized access to other users' accounts;
circumvention of technical safeguards, protocol-level reverse engineering outside permitted cases.

2.3 Abuse

spam, unsolicited mass messaging;
automated activity without explicit bot-account labeling;
scraping and parsing without permission;
creation of multiple accounts to evade blocks;
fraud, deception, impersonation.

2.4 Violation of others' rights

harassment, stalking, threats;
doxing (disclosure of third-party personal data without consent);
distribution of non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII);
IP infringement.

3. Sensitive content

Lawful 18+ content is allowed only in private and group chats between adult users with explicit consent. Strictly prohibited in:

public channels (if introduced in future versions);
profiles, avatars, nicknames;
meetings with guest access.

4. Consequences

Violations may result in:

content removal;
temporary or permanent account restrictions;
referral to law enforcement.
